National Disability Services
Thank you to Tracey for her thought-provoking presentation at our recent Disability at Work Conference. Tracey delivered an insightful speech on leveraging technology and AI to increase inclusion, which captivated the audience with its depth and clarity. Stating ‘the only way to interrogate the future is to investigate the past’, Tracey moved the audience by using a combination of historical data and pop-culture references to highlight how gender, racial, and ableist stereotypes are used to train AI, and how ChatGPT algorithms can discriminate against people with disability. She also highlighted some great AI companies and tools that are working towards greater equality – and what we can do as individuals to reach a more ‘protopian’ outlook on artificial intelligence. Tracey’s presentation was highly anticipated, and she certainly delivered an exceptional talk! Her insights and engaging delivery made a significant impact and left a lasting impression on the audience.
